Still in start-up mode, Luxembourg's MDI last week presented its Air'Volution, a waste collection vehicle it has developed for Veolia, in Lille. The first industrial compressed air vehicle will roll in the north.

The Luxemburgish MDI and its subsidiaries CQFD Air and MDI Prod show their know-how in more than one way: in addition to its fuel, the Air'Volution is equipped with a specific chassis for the collection of waste, it does not has no rear axle and has a central drive to facilitate the entry and exit of users on both sides for collection.

For this vehicle that emits no smoke, no pollution, no carbon dioxide or fine particle, thanks to its carbon fibre filament winding tanks, MDI has not forgotten the design.

The brand even ensures that it will also guide it for the upcoming release of the AirPod, promised to the Indian market next year, or the Green'Air, a vehicle designed for golf.

While financial support is slow in Luxembourg, despite partners such as the Indian Tata or French Veolia, these vehicles will not be produced in Luxembourg, but in Sardinia, and then in Belgium.
